You Are Essential to JRC
Whether JRC gathers in our beautiful building, an Evanston beachfront, or in your living room on Zoom, our congregation is here to hold emotions and traditions – both celebratory and loss-filled – and to be a gathering place for all. Rabbi Hillel wrote, “al tifrosh min ha tzibur,” meaning “don’t separate yourself from the community. We hope what our fellow members gain from membership at JRC isn’t merely transactional or tangible, but rather an ongoing sense of connection, commitment, sanctity and love. In order for JRC to be here for you and for your children in years to come, we hope you’ll continue to invest in us now. We need your ideas, your presence, and your support. We are right here for you, and we need you right here beside us.
Commitment Range and Adjustments
At JRC we provide a membership commitment range rather than a fixed amount for each household. We are committed to ensuring that any individual who would like to make JRC their spiritual home should be able to do so regardless of financial means. If you are able, we encourage you to select a commitment level above the minimum. Your generosity allows us to continue our longstanding practice of welcoming all members. And if you would like to discuss a dues adjustment, please contact JRC’s Executive Director, Micky Baer. You will not be asked to disclose the reason for your request.

Click on the link below to access our online Membership Commitment Form. If you would rather not complete a digital form, reach out to the JRC office and they will help you to submit your commitment form over the phone.
Once you complete your form and enter our payment portal, you can choose to pay online via credit card or ACH, either in full or by setting up a payment plan. You can also choose to pay with a paper check by selecting “pay this once now” and “bill my account”. Checks can be mailed to JRC in Evanston:

Dues Range
At JRC we provide a dues range rather than a fixed amount for each category of household. If you are able, we encourage you to select a dues level above the minimum for your household. Your generosity helps JRC continue a longstanding practice of welcoming all our members with due regard for ability to pay.
