Social Gatherings For Youth
For 6th through 12th Grade
Our social events include our annual Youth Kallah, ice skating with Cantor Howard, cooking competitions, tikkun olam opportunities, and more! These events are the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends, develop friendships started in the different derachim (pathways) and to meet new people!

September 19th
Youth Kick-off event in the JRC Sukkah! Come and decorate the sukkah, connect with friends, and learn about the year.
October 31st
Outdoor movie night for Halloween! Costumes, candy, movie and Jewish demon/monster bingo for Special Prizes!
November 13th
Get your skate on! Broomball (hockey with brooms) with Cantor Howard at the Robert Crown Center!
January 23rd
Pray with your feet and help those in need by cooking and volunteering at the JRC Soup Kitchen!
February 18th through 20th
JRC’s Annual Youth Kallah is our teen Shabbaton! Shabbat, fun, community, retreat!
March 6th
Whirlyball! Basically, imagine lacrosse in bumper cars and you get the picture. Too much fun!
April 3rd
Visit “The Forge” outdoor adventure park! Zip line, rock walls, obstacle course, laser-tag, and more!
May 19th
End of the year bonfire and s’more fest in honor of Lag B’Omer, the Jewish Bonfire Festival.
