SUMMARY:JRC Annual Blood Drive
DESCRIPTION:Giving blood is a pretty simple act with an outsized impact. Every two seconds\, someone in the United States needs blood. Hosting a Blood Drive at JRC sends a message\, individually and collectively – a message that we care\, that we are all connected and that we will take action to ease the way for others – as a community. \nFor years\, beloved JRC member\, Sara Cohn\, z’l\, coordinated the drive. Sara’s warmth and effervescence were a magnetic draw for those of us donating blood. We continue to honor Sara’s legacy with our annual drive. \nBlood donations take about one hour. Join us! Bring a buddy! Together we’ll schmooze\, nosh and donate. Collectively we’ll help others in need.
