

Become an Underwriter
Underwriters receive complimentary tickets to the event as well as recognition in the JRC Gala communications. There are three levels of underwriting:
$3,000 or more includes 4 tickets to the event
$1,500 or more includes 3 tickets to the event
$500 or more includes 2 tickets to the event

Host a Buy-In Party or Activity!
Buy-In events draw on the talents and creativity of JRC’s members, aka YOU! We hope you will team up with a friend or two and devise some great events for members and friends to enjoy.
Past activities have been fun, enlightening, and educational. Examples include: accessory exchange, Bananagrams with banana splits, bike outings, book talks, birding, brunches, BBQ’s, challah baking, chef demo, cider pressing, constitutional conversation, dinner under the stars at Grant Park, flower arranging, high tea, hikes, music salons, pasta making, puzzle and game nights, Shabbat dinners, themed meals, whisky tasting, wine and cheese, yoga, and zumba.
Feel free to repeat or create something new. Contact any of us to brainstorm ideas. Plan the event with a friend (or two) so that you can share costs and organizing tasks. Give us the details of your event, we’ll write a catchy description and confirm the date on the JRC calendar.

Donate Items for the Auction
We’re looking for big-ticket items or unique cultural experiences such as event tickets (to arts, music, sports, or theater, etc.), behind-the-scenes tours, the use of a vacation home, or culinary adventures like cooking classes or dining. Think about the activities that you enjoy that others might want to try.
We’re also seeking more modest treats like gift cards to bookstores or local businesses, bakeries or restaurants, museums, salons, or theater. Consider donating artisanal treats, arts and crafts, or wine and cocktails. Reach out to your favorite local restaurants and businesses and ask them to donate—it’s great PR. Or you can buy gift cards (valued $25+) for local restaurants and businesses that you would like to support—and donate them to the auction, it’s a win-win all around!
