Kabbalat Shabbat Potluck and Tu Bishvat Seder with Rabbi Rachel Weiss With Special Performance by JRC’s Junior Choir

hebTu Bishvat is celebrated at JRC with an interactive, musical, environmental, spiritual, and food-filled seder! Like a Passover seder, we begin with the ritual elements and symbolic fruits and juices, and then the potluck meal begins later. The Seder, ritual foods, potluck dinner, Tu Bishvat themes and Kabbalat Shabbat experience are all woven together from 6-8:30pm.

• 6pm: Welcome and find your table
• 6:15pm: The Seder begins (with ritual foods), led by Rabbi Rachel Weiss and percussionists Fred Weinstein and Nathan Adams, with music by our Junior Choir
• 7pm: Potluck dinner
• 7:45pm: Climate program for adults with parallel creative program for kids
• 8:30pm: Conclude the ritual together
