PurimFest including Heavy Shtetl and Family Megillah Reading!

Celebrate Purim with PurimFest at JRC! It’s perfect family fun for 2-12 year olds, but any age will enjoy this easy, festive Purim party. All are welcome! There is no charge to participate.

Our celebration kicks off with a costume parade, music by JRC’s amazing in-house Klezmer band, Heavy Shtetl, and family Megillah reading at 10 am. We’ll then have family-oriented activities and games in JRC’s style—laid back, warm, cheerful, and participatory, including hamantaschen baking (and eating!). Costumes aren’t required, but we’ve heard they are scientifically proven to make Purim more fun.

Grown ups are also invited to participate in our Annual Blood Drive That will be held downstairs in JRC’s Early Childhood Center.

Kehillah class sessions will not take place on Saturday, March 7. Families, please plan to attend Purim Fest together.
