Where to Age Discussion Group | Falling: Prevention and How to Fall and Get Back Up Safely led by Rhonda Guzman

October 4 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

You are invited to join an informal group gathering at JRC once a month to share and learn from each other about the WHERE of aging and the many decisions that go along with it.

Where to Age meets from 10am-12pm, in the 2nd floor double classroom. Bring a munchie if you feel inspired, JRC will provide coffee and tea.

This month’s focus topic is Falling: Prevention and How to Fall and Get Back Up Safely. Falls can be a major precipitating event leading to immediate risk and later decline. We are fortunate to welcome Rhonda Guzman to lead our discussion of this important topic. Rhonda, an Occupational Therapist, Gerontologist and Dementia Care Practitioner, has extensive experience as an educator, consultant, leader, manager, and clinician serving older adults and their families across the healthcare continuum. Rhonda’s colleague, Monisha Jain, a Physical Therapist and Geriatric Care Consultant, also will be joining us. Learn more about Rhonda and Monisha here.
