Immigrant Rights: Impact of Midterms and Upcoming Strategies in Illinois
A Discussion with JRC’s Immigrant Justice Task Force and JCUA
- Learn about this year’s ICIRR* Immigrant Justice State Platform — a policy agenda to improve the lives of immigrants in Illinois.
- Become educated about ways individuals can get involved through JCUA and/or ICIRR in policy advocacy to protect immigrants in our state.
- Discuss initial thoughts about what the midterm results mean for immigrant rights. It’ll be just two days after the midterms, so it will be great to get Becca’s perspective as an advocate for immigrant justice.
- We will be joined by Becca Lubow, JCUA’s Communited Organizer
