Death Awareness is Life Awareness: Death Cafe

May 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Death Awareness is Life Awareness: A Three Part Series on Death & Dying
Session 3: Death Cafe

A continuation of our inaugural Death Cafe in December 2025, this is a casual, lightly facilitated group where we eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death. This conversation has no set agenda, objectives, or themes – just honest, thoughtful discussion. While we may share personal experiences, a Death Cafe is not a grief support or counseling session, but rather an opportunity to connect, reflect, and explore life’s big questions together.

This workshop is the last of our 3 part series, and is ideal for people who want to explore end of life issues, have aging parents and family members, do not yet have end of life plans in place, and want to learn about death and dying with Judaism as your guide.

Session 1 | Wednesday, February 17: End of Life Dying, and Death in Jewish Traditions, Led by Rabbi Rachel Weiss
Session 2 | Wednesday, March 18: Getting Your House in Order: the Logistics of Dying With Kim Moldofsky
Session 3 | Wednesday, May 20: Death Cafe
